1st Annual Pong-a-Thon Benefit for Refugee Families

Bob Flaherty, the talk show host of WHMP radio station took on all comers for twelve straight hours in the First Annual Pong-a-Thon benefit for refugee families. Many well-known local and state politicians and citizen-donors paid to challenge Bob and, win or lose, all proceeds went to support refugee families in Northampton in their first year resettlement efforts. Zing! donated its facility and this event was broadcast by Bob, Monte Monteleone, Bill Newman, Trumpy, and Denise Vozella of Northampton Radio Stations.
